Scott Purdy, CIC — President

Scott Purdy started in the insurance industry in 1978, as a life insurance agent with National Life of Vermont. Scott joined Hatter, Williams & Purdy Insurance in 1983, and has spent the balance of his career in the agency/brokerage business. In 1999, Scott assumed the principal position of HWP, and became President of the agency.

Scott graduated from La Sierra College in 1974, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After graduating from La Sierra College, Scott attended the MBA program at the University of San Diego. He has earned and currently holds the distinguished designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

Scott strongly believes in providing the highest level of customer service to his clients with a commitment to effective hands-on attention to detail. The philosophical approach that Scott takes is to form a partnership with his customers, to help provide the best coverage at the most economical price.

Scott is a native San Diegan, and has resided in North San Diego County for the past 35 years. Married to his wife, Terrie, for 32 years, Scott has two children and three dogs. Scott enjoys playing golf, rooting for the Chargers, and traveling in his spare time.

Holly M. Bishop, CISR, CIC — Vice President of Commercial Lines

Holly has 24 years experience in Insurance, all with HWP. She started part time in high school as a file clerk. Once she graduated, she became the agencies first full time Receptionist. She later was promoted to a Customer Service Representative, a Supervisor of Personal Lines, and now a Commercial Lines Agent for the firm. Holly became a partner in 1999. Her attention is focused on satisfying the needs of her customers by providing the best value possible with her insurance products and providing superior customer service. She holds both the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), designations.

Holly and her husband of 20 years live in Oceanside with their two children, Tori (17), and Lucky (9). Her hobbies include RBV Little League Baseball, fitness, volunteering & scrapbooking.

Keith Brentlinger, CIC — Vice President of Personal Lines

Keith Brentlinger started in the insurance industry in 1991 with Farmers Insurance. He joined Hatter, Williams & Purdy Insurance in 1998. He is currently the Vice President of personal lines. He obtained his Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC) designation in 2006. Keith has also served on the Travelers Insurance Advisory Board. Keith consistently participates in continuing education classes to ensure that he provides the best possible service to his clients.

He is an active member and the current President of the El Camino Real Rotary Club.

He lives with his wife of 20 years and his 17 year old son in Carlsbad. He also has a married daughter and grandchild in Northern California. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. Keith's hobbies include traveling and skiing.

Jennifer Scott, CISR — Personal Lines Sales

Jennifer Scott joined HWP in 1991 as an after school job. After graduating from El Camino High in 1992, she decided to come to work for HWP full time as the file clerk. She has worked as receptionist, customer service representative, personal lines supervisor, and is now a personal lines sales agent. She obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 1998 and is currently working toward her Certified Insurance Councilors (CIC) designation.

A San Diego Native, Jennifer has lived in North County all her life. She married her high school sweetheart, Chris in 1993 and lives happily with their two Boxer dogs (that they treat like children). A lover of the outdoors, Jennifer never turns down an opportunity for camping, kayaking, fishing or a good game of softball.

Jenny Bowman, CISR — Customer Service Rep/Supervisor

Jenny is a native to California and has been in the insurance business for more than ten years. Jenny began her career working for an independent commercial insurance office in Bishop, CA and shifted her focus to Personal Lines when she moved to San Diego in 2001. She joined Hatter, Williams & Purdy in 2003 as a customer service rep and became the supervisor for the Personal Lines Department a few years later.

Jenny has extensive experience in the sales and service of personal insurance products. She is an excellent leader for her co-workers in the personal lines department and her focus is exceeding customer expectations with customer service and product knowledge.

Jamie Stevens, CISR — Customer Service Rep

Jamie started working for HWP as a File Clerk her senior year of high school in 2000. In that same year, she obtained her Property Casualty License and became a Customer Service Representative. She has been focused on her customers' insurance needs since 2000. Jamie also holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.

Jamie was married in May of 2009 and lives in Fallbrook with her husband Nathen, and their house full of dogs. She is actively involved with Second Chance Dog Rescue and their Pet Adoption Program.

Kymberlee Presley — Customer Service Rep

Kymberlee Presley has been active in the Personal Lines Insurance business since 2008. Though being new to the Insurance field, she has already completed several training courses and currently possesses a Property & Casualty Insurance license. She is also enrolled in classes as she works towards her CISR designation.

Kymberlee has been active in the customer service field for over 10 years. She has been consistent in her need to meet and exceed customer expectations by providing the best service, prompt responses and value in insurance products. Kymberlee is focused on exceeding customer expectations and has great attention to detail.

Kymberlee has resided in North County for several years, graduated from Rancho Buena Vista High School, and has attended several courses at Mira Costa College. Currently she is involved in her church, enjoys jazz dancing, reading, cooking & fitness.

Nickie Einertson, CISR — Customer Service Rep/Supervisor

Nickie started with HWP in 1990 as a receptionist. She was promoted to Customer Service in the Personal Lines department, and in 1998 moved to the Commercial Lines Department. Nickie is focused on satisfying the needs of our clients and making sure their insurance needs are met with the highest quality of service and knowledge. She holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation since 1995.

Nickie and her husband of 28 years were both raised in Carlsbad and now live in Oceanside. They have two grown children, ages 26 and 23 and a new grandson. Her hobbies include riding quad runners in Ocotillo Wells, watching her son play baseball and playing with her grandson.

Kacey Graham, CISR — Customer Service Rep

Kacey joined HWP in 2001 as a personal assistant. Kacey graduated from El Camino High in 2002 and from Palomar College in 2006. Kacey has worked in the Personal Lines Department, and moved to the Commercial Lines Department in 2006. She obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2007.

A San Diego Native, Kacey has lived in North County all her life. Kacey has a love of animals, and spends time with her dog, Sunnee. In her spare time, Kacey enjoys playing softball and snowboarding.

Sarah Field — Customer Service Rep

Sarah Field has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State San Marcos in 2003, she began working at Hatter, Williams and Purdy Insurance as a personal lines customer service representative. More recently, Sarah has moved to the commercial lines department and is enjoying her new responsibilities. Prior to working at Hatter, Williams and Purdy she was employed by Farmers Insurance as a personal lines insurance representative. Sarah prides herself in providing stellar customer service to each client and assuring that they are well taken care of.

Sarah and her husband Brent were both born and raised in San Diego and have a great appreciation for life as well as valuing their family and friends.

Barbara Birch — Office Manager/Accounting

Barbara has been in the Insurance Industry for 32 years and at Hatter, Williams & Purdy for the last 21. Currently she is the Office Manger/Accounting Supervisor for HWP. Her insurance career began in 1977 as a Claims Examiner for Idaho Farm Bureau. In 1985 she moved to Ogden Utah where she worked for a small independent insurance agency as a CSR. Then in 1987 she moved to Oceanside and began her career with HWP. She started out in customer service for the personal lines department. Shortly after she assumed the role of assistant bookkeeper and in 1993 was promoted to the job that she holds now.

She is married to Bob Birch, the IT consultant for the agency and they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

Dove Sholk — Receptionist

Dove has been in the customer service industry for over 8 years. She was hired in June 2009 and helps with the day to day functions of the office. Dove has lived in the North County area for 24 years. She is currently going to school part time at Palomar College in San Marcos and teaches swim lessons to infants and children at the YMCA in Encinitas on the weekends. She loves animals and enjoys hiking.

Sara Stamper, CISR — Office Manager/Personal Lines Sales

Sara Stamper began her career in the insurance business as a personal lines representative in 1989. She has been a dedicated member of the Hatter, Williams and Purdy staff since 1993. In 2002, when HWP took the initiative to expand the business and open a second office location, Sara transferred to the new Temecula office to support and assist with the growth of our company. Sara is a Sales Agent and Temecula Office Manager. Additionally, she is a qualified CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative.) In her role, Sara upholds and welcomes the valued business of new customers and works diligently to the best interest of our patron. In addition to more than 20 years of experience and knowledge in our business field, Sara also integrates fluent bilingual abilities.

Sara currently resides in North County where she was also born and raised. She is a loyal friend, compassionate daughter and loving wife. For leisure and relaxation, Sara enjoys biking, camping and spending time at the beach.

Denise Eells, ARM — Commercial Sales

Denise Eells joined Hatter, Williams & Purdy in 2008 and specializes in the placement of property, casualty, professional liability and workers' compensation insurance for small and middle market companies. She serves clients in all areas of business with special focus and expertise on Real Estate, Technology, Consulting and Agriculture. Denise has 25 years experience in the insurance industry and holds a professional designation of Association in Risk Management (ARM). She currently resides in North San Diego County and works in the Temecula office of HWP Insurance. Denise most enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two daughters.

Rosa Banuelos — Customer Service Rep

Rosa Banuelos has been proudly serving the insurance industry since 1990. She joined the Hatter, Williams and Purdy team in January, 2002.

Rosa works out of the Temecula office, and specializes in personal lines insurance. Being a Fire and Casualty licensee, she serves as a Customer Service Representative/Sales Agent and strives to exceed our customers' expectations on a daily basis. In addition, her bilingual abilities have enabled her to create and maintain trustworthy relationships with our Spanish speaking customers, as well.

Rosa resides in the Temecula area and she enjoys camping, vacationing and spending the most time possible with her family. She is a mother of five and has been happily married for twenty two years.

Gilda Saul-Alvarez — Customer Service Rep/Receptionist

Gilda Saul-Alvarez is a Customer Service Representative in our Temecula office. She began her journey in the insurance industry as our part time receptionist and personal lines assistant in January, 2004. Along with her bilingual proficiency and superior learning abilities Gilda soon became a licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent in 2006. Prior to Hatter, Williams and Purdy, Gilda lived in Tijuana, Mexico and worked as an elementary English teacher. She has contentedly resided in the city of Murrieta since August, 2002. Gilda has been blissfully married for twenty five years and is a devoted mother to her 3 daughters. Additionally, she recently welcomed her first and only grandson. Gilda enjoys reading, listening to music, dancing and cherishing moments with her family.
